The Holocaust
The Nuremberg laws were rules set up to establish races in Germany. The laws were unfair towards Jews, blacks, and gypsies. The laws started the loss of human rights which enabled the Holocaust. The Holocaust was a genocide of the Jewish religion, blacks, gypsies and most non Aryan races, which all started with the Nuremberg laws.
HOLOCAUST TIMELINE
!933: Adolf Hitler becomes chancellor of Germany and the Nazi power takes over Germany.
1934: Hitler rids the president and chancellor title of Germany and proclaims himself "leader of the Germany"
!935: This is the year the NUREMBERG LAWS are passed
1938: Kristallnacht- "The Night of Broken Glass"- This was the first step of the Holocaust when Hitler terrorizes the Jews in Austria. This the year Germany annexes Austria.
Jewish children must now attend Jewish schools. Jews must carry ID with a "J" on them to show that they are Jewish.
1939: Germany is given Sudetenland by Britain and France to avoid war. But Germany ends up annexing the rest of Czechoslovakia and invades Poland.
Jews at this time are now told to wear stars of David when they go out in public to advertise their Judaism.
1940: Jews are starting to get sent to concentration camps and ghettos
1941: More laws keep getting passed. Jew cannot leave their homes without the consent of a Nazi officer.
1942-1943: "The Final Solution"- Germany's plan to exterminate all the Jewish people living in Europe.
At this time already 80% of the lives taken in the Holocaust have already occurred by this point.
1944: Hitler deports 12,000 Jews each day to a horrid concentration camp known as Auschwitz.
1945: Hitler is defeated and commits suicide. The holocaust ends and concentration camps are exterminated.
